School Meals

Chartwells operate a cafeteria service at lunchtimes and the children are able to choose their own meals from a range of hot and cold dishes prepared in the school's own kitchen each day. Payments for these meals should be made on a weekly basis, on Monday mornings, to your child's classroom assistant. Payment by cheque is welcomed. The cost of school meals is £1.80 per day (£9.00 per week).

The dinner menu is rotated weekly and there are many healthy options to choose from. All meat used in our meals is HMC Halal Certified, if you have any queries regarding school meals please contact the school office. The school kitchen was inspected in February 2017 and received Five Stars from the Foods Standards Agency. We are very proud to announce that for the past six years our school kitchen has received 5 stars!

Some children prefer to bring packed lunches from home. These meals should be in a plastic container clearly marked with your child's name. If your child brings in a packed lunch they must bring this in with them in the morning. Please note warm packed lunch drop offs will not be accepted before lunchtime. if your child would like a warm dinner they must have a school dinner.

We provide drinking water for all children at lunchtime. We do not allow sweets, chewing gum or fizzy drinks in school and we are a nut free school.
